Occupational Medicine

Affectionately called ROMP, the Regional Occupational Medicine Program at SLV Regional Medical Center is a locally based health care system exclusively dedicated to occupational medicine, staffed by professionals chosen for their expertise and commitment to treatment of injured workers. We offer the coordination of referrals to the following: Specialists, Physical Therapy (Including Functional Capacity Testing), Laboratory, Radiology, Hospital Inpatient Services and Emergency Department Services.

A large percentage of SLV employers select the Occupational Medicine Clinic as their designated occupational needs provider. The goal of this program is to provide the injured worker with quality continuity of care in a timely fashion. In addition, our clinic offers a variety of occupational medicine services such as:

  • Treatment of Work-Related Injuries
  • Alcohol and Drug Testing
  • Post-Offer Physicals
  • Audiometric Evaluation
  • Titmus II Vision Testing
  • Pulmonary Function Testing
  • Respirator Qualifications
  • Provide Assessments of Workstations
  • Coordination of Physical and Occupational Therapy Services
  • Work Simulation Evaluations
