Tammie Vigil-Salazar Scholarship

The SLVRMC's Scholarship for Nursing Education is in memory of Tammie Vigil-Salazar, a former employee of SLVRMC who died in a tragic accident in 2007. The Scholarship Fund was established to provide funds for those wishing to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse.

The Tammie Vigil-Salazar applicant must have applied and been accepted for admission to a Nursing Program in an accredited school, within Colorado or out of the state. The Colorado Trust Directed Contributions program scholarship will only be available for the nursing programs and Adams State University and Trinidad State Junior College.

Applications must be completed and received by Friday, April 26, 2013 to be considered for this year's scholarship. The applicants will be reviewed by the middle of May. All applications are to be sent to the SLVRMC Foundation at the SLVRMC, 106 Blanca Ave, Alamosa, CO 81101.
