VISITING HOURS

Monday - Sunday: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm

VISITING POLICY

Our policy is to protect the privacy of patients & prevent the spread of infection while allowing patients the comfort of welcomed visitors.

1. Only 2 visitors per patient will be allowed at one time. Other visitors will be asked to wait in designated areas such as waiting rooms and lobbies. Visitors will be asked not to congregate or wait in hallways or in patient care areas.
2. Children must be supervised and within control of an adult at all times.
3. No visitors will be allowed before 8:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m. without the approval of the nurse responsible for that patient. Prior approval for requests for visitors outside established visiting hours must be made by your nurse and conveyed to the Emergency Department receptionist before the visitor enters the hospital.
4. Individuals who have symptoms of any communicable illness or infection are not allowed to visit hospital patients without making prior arrangements with Infection Control. Symptoms include (but are not limited to) coughing/sneezing, runny nose, fever, rash, & diarrhea/vomiting within the past 24 hours.
5. Visiting rules and restrictions are subject to the discretion of the nurse responsible for the patient based upon the needs of that patient, their roommate and other patients on the unit.
6. Visitors who are not compliant with rules, are disruptive or loud, or who disturb the privacy and rest of patients will be asked by nursing staff to leave.
7. Patients have the absolute right to refuse any visitor.
8. Visitors are asked to check with a nurse before bringing food, beverages, medications or electrical appliances to patients.
