Obstetrics & Gynecology: Registered Nurse

Job Overview:
The staff Registered Nurse is a professional practitioner who functions as both a care giver and care manager. The Staff RN is in charge of patient assessment, planning implementing and evaluating and is responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice. We are seeking devoted and confident individuals eager for challenge and for the opportunity to share their talents, their passion, and their expertise. We deliver over 600 babies a year and provide a Level I Nursery.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure and/or Certifications Required:

• Current Colorado RN Licensure,
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Education Required:

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions on sensitive, confidential issues.
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 6 months in labor and delivery, willing to train right person
