As a full service rehabilitation center, SLVRMC offers a wide range of therapy services including acute care and in-patient rehabilitation located in the hospital and out-patient therapy centered in the Physician’s Services building located on 2115 Stuart Street.

Acute Care

• Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy can be ordered and initiated at any time during the patient’s stay.
• Focusing on endurance, strength, wound care, pain control, evaluation of activities of daily living, need for adaptive equipment, evaluating level of assistance for prior to discharge, cognitive function and swallowing difficulties.

• Our Acute Rehab Unit scored in the top 20% of rehab units in the nation according to UDS for 2004-05.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 and 8:00 -12:00 on Saturday.

Out-Patient Rehabilitation

• Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech therapy provide a variety of services to meet the needs of our clients.
• Physical therapy focuses on vestibular rehab, neurological issues, urinary incontinence, orthotics, wound care, sports medicine, manual therapy, manipulative medicine, SI dysfunction, and women’s health issues.
• Occupational therapy focuses on upper extremity dysfunction, ADL dysfunction, functional capacity evaluations, inclinometries, job analysis, ergonomics, pre-work screens, lymph edema, splinting, burn care, hand therapy and sensory integration.
• Speech therapy focuses on cognitive issues, memory, swallowing difficulties, speech language development, apraxia, ataxia, voice treatment, and developmental delays.

Hours of Operation:
The Out-Patient Rehabilitation clinic is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday – Friday.

Del Norte satellite clinic (Peak Therapy)  
We are pleased to offer physical, occupational and speech services in a satellite clinic in Del Norte. We are located in the old hospital ER. We have part-time staff there that can be reached at phone:
