We believe the old saying that you are what you eat. That's why at SLVRMC, our expert Registered Dietitian provides nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy (MNT), a therapeutic approach to treating medical conditions and their symptoms through a tailored diet and close monitoring, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Nutrition is also taught in the Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP) clinic by a Certified Diabetes Educator. At SLVRMC, we are committed to supplying patients of all ages with information on how they can improve their diets and their lives.
