Pharmacy Services

At SLVRMC, we believe that a patient's pharmaceutical needs are paramount to optimal health. That's why the SLVRMC Pharmacy is staffed with Doctorate Pharmacists providing inpatient and oncology pharmaceuticals ordered by physicians for inpatient needs. In addition to the typical medication preparation and sterile product preparation, the department also provides dosing and monitoring of warfarin, vancomycin and aminoglycosides.

Our pharmacists provide medication dosage adjustments based on patient renal function, as well as medication identification and drug information as requested. Patient profile review and suggestions for optimal medical therapy are made during daily rounds. The hospital also provides web access to the medical references UpToDate and Micromedex and hospital employees and providers are provided with a subscription to Mobile Micromedex to download to their pocket PC's or smartphones.

Though SLVRMC Pharmacy Services are only available for inpatient needs, there is an onsite retail pharmacy for all other pharmaceutical needs.
