Svetlana Bresnitz, MD, FAAP
Dr. Bresnitz cares that her practice reflects values which are important to parents and patients: provision of the most up-to-date pediatric care, cost effectiveness (an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure), care coordination between primary and subspecialty care, availability for same day appointments, and minimal wait times for preventive appointments. Her focus on prevention cannot be overstated. Dr. Bresnitz maintains her fund of knowledge and keeps her skills up-to-date by reading relevant pediatric journals monthly, by ongoing study of the American Academy of Pediatrics curriculum, and by comprehensive education and active participation in the rigorous maintenance of the board certification process as prescribed by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Bresnitz enjoys diversity in her patients and has a special fondness for newborns. She encourages parents and patients, especially teens, to ask a lot of questions.
