RADIOLOGY/IMAGING
SERVICES
The Imaging Services Department is full of activity 24 hours a day,
7 days a week. From routine examinations to highly technical trauma
scans and x-rays the staff consistently perform thousands of tests
each year. The department produces quality studies on state-of-the-art
equipment in each of the following modalities.
The Imaging Service Department is a highly technical department staffed with people who have a passion for service, high quality and accurate results. Our staff knows that helping you understand what will take place during your test will assist you in remaining calm and relaxed during the procedure. This creates a positive experiencne for you and enables the Technologist performing your procedure to obtain the highest quality image to help in your diagnosis and treatment.
The
department staff includes a Radiologist (M.D.), Department Director,
twelve Radiologic Technologists, a receptionist, two part-time clerical
assistants and one technical assistant. The Radiologic Technologists
are each trained and certified in their specific modalities, and
many are cross-trained to assist in other specialties.
The Imaging Services Department is accredited by JCAHO, the State
of Colorado and the American College of Radiologists.
