| Mueller Receives Nightingale Award |
|
Jennifer was nominated for the Nightingale award in the category of Innovation. With training in Lean Six Sigma, Jennifer shines when working within a team environment to make process improvements. Change can be diffi cult but Jennifer excels at empowering individuals to work as a team and make the changes needed to improve care. This includes integrating services such as the Coumadin Clinic and Diabetes Education within the primary care practice so they are more actively utilized by both providers and patients. Jennifer said she went into nursing hoping to make a difference for patients. Now in a leadership role, she sees that on a broader scale. "More than just one-on-one patient care, I am able to affect patient care on a much bigger level and that, to me, is really important." |

Jennifer Mueller, RN, was recently honored with the prestigious Nightingale Luminary Award. For the past decade, Jennifer has worked as an EMT, ER nurse, diabetes educator and nurse manager before becoming Director of Clinical Operations in October 2011.
