SLVRMC has earned a perfect score from the State of Colorado Trauma Review Board after an inspection of the trauma program in 2011. To be specific, zero deficiencies were found. Reaching this achievement took the skill of a dedicated team of medical professionals to meet the criteria of a Level 4 Trauma Center.

A key factor has been the hospital's affiliation with Centura Health—Colorado's largest hospital and healthcare network—which gives SLVRMC access to Front Range partners. Other contributing factors to our perfect score include the addition of state-of-the-art medical equipment such as the Glide Scope which is a high tech intubation device that is less invasive while achieving better results for patients. A final contributing factor: TraumaBase 7.0. This system allows SLVRMC to provide more coordinated care between the ER, the ER doctors, the surgeons, the OR, the OR crew, the nurses.
