VOLUNTEERS
The
American Red Cross Hospital Volunteers our facility is a group of community members whose philosophy stems
from the sincere belief that all people are created equal, deserving
of love and respect. This belief motivates them in their generosity
to aid the sick either directly, or indirectly by cooperating with
the hospital staff in prompting better patient care.
Joining the SLVRMC Ambassadors is another way you can volunteer at the hospital. These volunteers greet patients and visitors as they enter the hospital, assist anyone in locating patient room, waiting rooms, physicians or outpatient services. These very special people will give you information, directions or walk you to your destination anywhere in the facility.
If you are interested in becoming an SLVRMC Volunteer, please call Joyce Austin, Volunteer Services Coordinator. 719-597-6290
